Episode 1: Party of Seven

• Zelda and Danielle being the first two conscious is SO funny because Zelda relies too heavily on scripts to mention what's going on in their situation and Danielle is too willing to go with the flow so they both just slide in with "Nice to meet you"'s and make no mention of the fact that they're meeting because they were both kidnapped.
• Everyone silently doing the peace hands is so funny
• Zelda's breathless "You're awesome" -- Dykery <3
• Sam's immediate violent awakening is iconic but also kind of heart-wrenching given that the last thing she remembers is Penelope turning on her.
• Sam being shredded as hell; love that for her
• All the girls trying to help magically clean up Antiope <3
• The body dysphoria of this group must be insane given that several of them went through stages of puberty while in the crystals but weren't conscious of it happening (Katja, Danielle, Penny, and Antiope, specifically)
• "You need to get a personality, babe."
• Penny unprompted thinking about her siblings when looking into Tallura's mirror for the first time -- i'm INSANE
• The body movements/miming that Brennan does at 58:00 still really entrances me lol, like something about the effective communication of the events plus the fluidity of the motions scratches an itch, sort of, you know?
• The visceral reactions everyone at the table has to Brennan RPing as Antiope's mom, lol
• Antiope's older siblings call her "Ant" <3
• "It's strange to have a space that she occupied and not have her in it" :(
  • That both Persephone and Brennan both emphasize the cold/emptiness of the house..
• That Sam isn't even worried about her own position in the house, "You can't be alone," is like her first protest, the unending pool of Sam's empathy is phenomenal.
• Once again, the casual acceptance and ease in the face of angry/snarling outbursts will always be important to me.
• Sam fully embroidering Zelda's name on the passenger seat of her car so that Zelda can stop feeling nervous about taking shotgun; they're SO cute
• Also important to me that Zelda is the only one of the Maidens who knows about Sam's mom, knows enough to start going into a rage just at the thought/mention of her
• "If you get it wrong, that's beautiful, because it was you getting it wrong."
• Katja's room still being designed/decorated for a little kid because she never cared enough about her stuff to change any of it as she got older
• Katja wearing half a friendship necklace with no one else having the other half is heartbreaking; she's LITERALLY the most poor little meow meow who ever did it
• Ostentatia shaves her beard because she doesn't like it/gets insecure about it.
• Also kind of love her and her mom constantly breaking off into arguments just to interrupt themselves with saying "I love you" to each other
• The instant tone shift between everyone losing it over Izzy's nat20 insight to complete crushed silence when the insight is that Ostentatia's dad sold his tools to pay for supplies for her adventuring party...
• His voice cracking over "I can take care of you, okay?" :(
• Yelle just calls her moms by their first names <3
• Her trying to brush off being excluded by her classmates like it doesn't get to her :((
• Seriously, I love these characters AND these players so much
